Research and Ethics Policy
College is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and hence adheres to all the ordinances and regulations formulated by the University.
College encourages research by:
- Providing infrastructure through the in-campus research center
- Encouraging faculty to apply for recognition as research guides for Ph.D.
- Approving leave of the faculty pursuing research leading to a doctoral degree under the Faculty Improvement Program offered by the UGC.
- Urging the faculty to apply for Major and Minor research grants provided by the Government organizations such as Mumbai University, UGC, ICSSR, etc with the support of the research committee
- Supporting the BOS of every department that promotes the development of a research culture amongst students of the UG and PG programs.
- Engaging a research consultant to advise new researchers in their research related activities and assist them to apply for various research grants.
- The college also strictly prohibits plagiarism at all levels and facilitates the monitoring and mitigation of malpractices through online tools.
